Update The Third
In what is fast becoming a monthly tradition, here is a quick round-up of what’s going on behind the scenes with the Unexpected Traveller’s Blog.
Firstly, I’ve added another widget to the side bar that’s slim, white and has the word “Bookmark” all over it. This is a small but useful tool provided by the people at http://www.addthis.com and lets you bookmark the Unexpected Traveller’s Blog on your favourite social media site – Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Del.icio.us, whatever you fancy.
I’ve added a few other icons in recent weeks to the side bar. The more colourful ones refer to a number of Blog Directories. They are the equivalent of the Yellow Pages for the blog world and I have submitted this blog to their list. Blogged is, perhaps, one of the larger ones and you can see that its icon in the side bar also shows the average rating for the blog which is set at a rather respectable 7.2 out of 10.
That might have changed by the time you read this … hopefully for the better! Feel free to click on it and register a vote for me if you like what you read here.
Oh and for those of you who were here last month – it looks like the ratings thingie is used more often when below the post rather than above it so it’s staying there now. Thanks for voting!
